We all think to ourselves and talk to ourselves constantly through out our waking day, and at night when we sleep, something very cleaver takes place. We keep on processing our thoughts, feelings, and file them away. There are times when we just can’t let go of an idea, a kernel of a thought that grows and stays there in our heads. Whether it is right or wrong, fact or fictions, it is there, in the front of our minds, taking up all or our thought space, a lot of our energy, getting in the way.
Some clients tell me it is like being trapped in a loop, everything they do, or see or think about keeps coming back to the same old thing, like being on a never ending roundabout that’s leads to stress, anxiety and a lack of confidence; people often tell me about a sense of unease they have about everything.
The key to resolving this has nothing to do with analysing the whys and the wherefore of how these thoughts and feelings came about. It has everything to do with making a change in the way a client pictures and imagines the things that they do, the words they say to themselves, which then changes the emotional response.
Give me a call and if I can help you, I will.
